There are 4 types of HRCI Certification, corresponding to 4 levels of HRM and experience. Each type of HRCI Certification has its own requirements:

Requirements

aPHRi™

· A high school diploma or global equivalent

· No HR experience is required since this is a knowledge-based credential

PHRi™

To be eligible for the PHRi™ you must meet one of the following conditions for education and experience:

· Have at least one year of experience in a professional-level HR position + a master’s degree or global equivalent,

· Have at least two years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, OR

· Have at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a high school diploma or global equivalent.

SPHRi™

To be eligible for the SPHRi™ you must meet one of the following conditions for education and experience*:

· Have at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a master’s degree or global equivalent

· Have at least five years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, OR

· A minimum of seven years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a high school diploma or global equivalent.

The SPHRi™ requires documented knowledge of local employment laws.

GPHR®

To be eligible for the GPHR® you must meet one of the following conditions for education and experience:

· Have at least two years of experience* in a global professional-level HR position + a Master’s degree or higher,

· Have at least three years of experience* in a professional-level HR position (at least two in global HR) + a Bachelor’s degree, OR

· Have at least four years of experience* in a professional-level HR position (at least two in global HR) + a high school diploma.

*Note: Global HR experience is defined as having direct, cross-border HR responsibilities for two or more countries or regions

To have a good preparation for the HRCI exam, you should attend the MHRM Program (Modern Human Resource Management Program) held by VHRS. This program is designed specifically for HR professionals at different levels as well as managers and leaders who hold the role of managing people, one of the vital elements of businesses in the era of 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

MHRM Program consists of 4 courses, corresponding to 4 levels of Human Resource Management and 4 types of HRCI Certification:

The Essential Human Resource Management – International (EHRMi)

The Advanced Human Resource Management – International (AHRMi)

The Strategic Human Resource Management – International (SHRMi)

The Global Human Resource Management (GHRM)

Once an exam application is approved, no refunds will be made whether a candidate withdraws or no longer wishes to take the exam because the access code to the HRBoK cannot be rescinded/de-activated.
